Trust me, the food alone is well worth the trip, but visiting Nystrom Orchard feels a little like stepping into a Hallmark movie—only better, because it’s real.
On opening day, September 4, 2026, I had the wonderful distinction of being their very first customer. The warm sunshine on a beautiful country morning made the drive to the orchard feel like the beginning of something special. As I turned into the beautiful homestead, with the scent of freshly cut grass and just a hint of autumn in the air, it felt almost magical.
I walked into the charming little store and was greeted by the most wonderful, welcoming crew. The aroma of freshly baked sourdough bread, crisp apples, and homemade goodness filled the air. It was warm, inviting, and absolutely delightful.
Kia was an exceptional hostess—genuine, joyful, and so welcoming that you couldn't help but enjoy being there. It was simply fun. The kind of place that makes you want to stay awhile.
Eventually, I had to leave—but not before filling the backseat of my car with an abundance of delicious goodies!
As I drove away, I had only one thought:
I’ll be back.
Nystrom Orchard isn't simply a place to stop and buy something delicious. It's an experience—and one well worth the drive.
