Copy of Tasting Events at Nystrom Orchard

Nystrom Orchard is all about creating an experience like no other for you to enjoy in Southwest Minnesota! If you haven't joined us for a tasting event, it's time!

We offer three types of tastings. The first is our Tasting Through the Orchard event which will be on September 10th and 24th. On these dates, we transform our orchard into an oasis of beauty. As you walk through our orchard trees, there are different mini plate stations of gourmet food to enjoy along the way. Various seating spots are available to enjoy the night in the orchard while you sip your favorite non-alcoholic or alcoholic drink by Nystrom Orchard Tasting Club and listen to live acoustic music. It's a perfect night for couples and friends to enjoy the beauty of an apple orchard in the fall. Kids and teenagers are certainly welcome as well and admit to having fun going through with their families.

Our second option is our Artisan Apple Tasting. This is a sit down experience in our apple shed on October 21st and 22nd. The evening includes a full hour and a half of storytelling by one of the owners of Nystrom Orchard while you enjoy a full menu of various courses that highlight the use of apples in surprising and delicious ways. More details are available on the Gourmet Apple Tasting page. Limited to 26 guests.

Our third option is Cider Weekend. This is a totally different experience than an orchard tasting and worth attending as well! The last weekend in October, we transform our orchard into a brewery like vibe and begin cold pressing each variety of apples into non-alcoholic cider. Sign up for a cider flight to taste 4 varieties out of the 8 we will press that weekend. This a great family atmosphere to enjoy while noshing on a flatbread or cheeseboard. Our cider is nothing like what you can get in the grocery store. Once you try it, you will never go back to the grocery store cider again!
