Meet the owner
After 4 generations of collective family ownership, Kia Nystrom transitioned into a new role as sole owner in 2022. She has an entrepreneurial spirit with big goals and a checklist to get it all done. She has convinced her extensive family that the orchard is the place to be to hang out and help each fall and still operates it like the family business you have come to know and love. Fun fact - if you come to one of our events, it is common that over 20 family members will be ensuring that your experience is top notch!

We are often the last orchard to release each of our 16 varieties. Not because we are lazy, but because we know that the fruit only gets better when picked perfectly ripe. You'll immediately notice the color difference and taste!
